Dannielle Johnson commenced working at the AILC in August 2016.

Dannielle is a country girl, born and raised in Nyngan. A small rural town in central NSW, Wongabon country. Dannielle completed her senior studies at Yanco Agricultural High School before moving to England for 12 months to play netball for Somerset County. Upon her return to Australia, she moved to Canberra in 2006 to study International Business and Tourism Management at the University of Canberra.

Dannielle has extensive experience as an Executive Assistant. She spent several years at Family & Community Services in Queanbeyan as the Executive Assistant to the District Director. Prior to this role, Dannielle worked at Indigenous Business Australia as the Cultural Capability Development Advisor overseeing the IBA’s Cultural Engagement and Education Framework, the Indigenous Graduate Program and entry level recruitment programs such as CareerTrackers internships.

Outside of work Dannielle is actively involved within the local sporting community. Having played netball her entire life and represented NSW and the NSW Indigenous squad, Dannielle has recently joined the Queanbeyan Netball Association as the Representative Coordinator.

Dannielle’s passion is travelling the world! She has lived in England and Canada. Travelled to Thailand, Bali, Fiji, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, America and Europe.
