Jahmarl is a proud Wiradjuri man from the Central West Slopes and Plains of NSW who started with the AILC in January of 2019.
Jahmarl’s knowledge stems from the various sectors he has worked within, ranging from private to community through to government and non-government sectors. Through building the foundation of his career, he has been acknowledged for his contributions he has made to Corporate and Indigenous Australia, to his community back home and where he lives in Canberra currently.
Jahmarl has undertaken the AILC Certificate II and Certificate IV in Indigenous Leadership, he is working towards completing his Diploma of Leadership and Management, to compliment his Diploma of Government majoring in Project Management. He is further accredited to deliver Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid training.
Along with the collection of his academic achievements and comprehensive work history, Jahmarl is looking forward to working alongside, and learning from our people in a practical sense.
Jahmarl is eager to expand upon his capabilities in connecting with the broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through his role as Program Leader with the AILC.
