Trevor is a founder of Building Indigenous Capability P/L (BIC) a 100% Indigenous company with select products and services across 3 business lines consulting, facilitation and training services. BIC is an accredited Supply Nation
supplier, and Nationally Registered Training provider.
Trevor was born in Alice Springs of Southern Arrernte and Gurindji heritage. He holds an Honours degree in Economics, an Advanced Diploma in Leadership & Management, and Diplomas in Coaching and Community Development. He is trained in Agile, and in facilitation and training Trevor is a Board member of the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce, and has held numerous Board positions at regional and local level. Prior to being in
business he held positions as: Director of the Centre for Aboriginal Studies at Curtin University (Perth, WA), CEO of the NSW Aboriginal Land Council (Sydney, NSW), and in both the Australian and Queensland public sectors.
Over 2 decades he has worked with community, corporate, industry and public sector clients on various assignments involving training, facilitation or management consulting. His interests include knowledge and skills transfer for
inclusion and diversity,closing the gap on disadvantage, fostering sustainable and strong community leadership,and leveraging the power of business to promote innovation for social impact.
Trevor lives in Queanbeyan, NSW. He has 4 children, 3 of whom reside in Alice Springs and one in Redfern. His interests outside of work include reading, travel and sport.
